Hola Senor Alan!!
I am so honored to be your first psot! I doubt if you will ever be able to see this since Dan will have the whips out making you work 14-18 hours a day! (which you love and wouldn’t have it any other way! )
You and the team are being surrounded with prayer right now. All day I have been thinking about you and wishing Kev & I were down there with you!! It’s killing us! Oh well, I wouldn’t want to show you up on my incredible carpentry skills. It would hurt your feelings. Love you,
Give Estuardo & Hermano Jesus a hug! Have fun and do great things all for His Glory!

I just found out today I have a blog – thanks Deloy!!
Working very long days but getting a lot done. Yesterday I was working on cabinets – today hanging doors. All the cabinets & countertops are done except for Dan & Heidi’s kitchen. Tomorrow I will see Aledena & Annelie stopped by today. Hi to Sheri if you find this blog!!!
Senor Ron – I am internet savvy today!
Hi Kevin & Kristy. I ran 30 miles today, all uphill.
Hi Al
It looks like you are so happy to be there. This has been a day you have envisioned for a long time. It is really looking good down there. The cabinets will help to get everything put away. (all though things are all scattered all over the building, it looks organized). But it will be a great thing to have counters and doors…..oh what a blessing. I hope after karen leaves…you can keep us posted. It is so fun to watch the progress. I know your family is probably wishing they were with you as well…..Sya

Senor Al,
What a blessing you are and inspiration you are for me. I’m having a hard time finding words that can express my thoughts. Rest assurd that you and everyone with you are in my prayers.
Senor Al,
The cabinets look great! Talked to Sheri last night at The Crossing and she’s doing fine. It is so fun looking at the pictures and seeing everything come together! It is awesome seeing the love and joy on your face when you are there. Say hi to Annelie for us. Take care and know that we are praying for you!!
Kristy
ps I am very impressed that you ran 30 miles uphill….or I would be if I hadn’t run 100!
(granted that was in inches, but it still counts right?1?!)

Hola Senior Alan. Buenos noches. Comost dos? Bien? I hope you internet savvy enough to get this email today. The cabinets look great! It looks dark through the door, so you must be working late. Put any forest fires out lately? I saw Aledena yesterday, did you? Ha Ha!If you get time in Houston, stop and get a porboy for me. Pray for Rick tomorrow that he comes to Bible study and that he can continue to search for direction in his life! I guess I’ll have to drive myself or call Sherri to pick me up.Adios amigos and gloria Jesus. Ron
It is so great to see all the progress that the team has been making. From when the women’s group was there, it is quite a change, and it is so neat that it is far enough to be able to stay there, instead of traveling back and forth. Say hi to everyone for me, and have a safe trip tomorrow.
The cabinets are done. All the doors are hung. Tomorrow we’re going to start installing the patio doors. Getting lots of work done. We might have our 1st warm shower tonight but that’s better than no shower for the last 2 nights. Chad, Sue, Heidi, Karen, and I played cards last night. Tonight I start as the KING!
Kevin – tell jordan Dooley that I’m going to Aledena’s village tomorrow to take pictures of the shoes we gave them last week. Hello Sheri – do you know that I have a blog?!?! I’m pretty computer savvy this week (with Karen’s help, who is also his typist!) We’ve been working until 9pm at night (Guate time) – hope to finish a little sooner tonight & do some whoopin’ in cards.
thanks for all your messages.
Senor Al….adios!
SEÑOR AL –
It’s almost 8:30 in Guatemala and you’re probably still working. Or maybe you’re looking for Heidi & saying “Can we check my blog??”
Anxious to hear about the shoe delivery today.
It was great working with you for a couple of days. Finish strong, brother!
Blessings,
Karen
Hola everyone. Karen i miss you typing 4 me. Great day today. Kevin it was like Pash in Guat this afternoon as i snuck Dans ipod and listened 2 praise songs all afternoon as i cut window jambs and enjoyed the rolling hills of Guat. The power of your love came on and boy did that bring a tear or two. At 6pm i took the van with Kevin Smith and Curt K. and went to Aldenas village to bring some more shoes. Jordan Dooley i have some pics 4 u and Calvin Chr on your shoe donation, Thanks. I got to see Aldena and she gave me a letter and told me she loved me(: I told her i loved her and gave her a hug and she cryed, now that was worth the trip back in itself. In her letter she said i was like her dad because she has no Dad): What a blessing that little girl is to me. I love coming here, its like God is in the next room, if we could only focus on him at home as much as we do here. Senor Ron did Rick make it to bible study? Ron i saw Aldena today ha ha Hi Sheri will someone tell her im alive and i have a blog……. Thanks 4 the prayers TO ALL. What a honor 2 be chosen by God to come back to Guat just 2 days after i got home, follow HIS call HE does not disappoint. I am truelly blessed. IN CHRIST ALAN

Hi Al,
I found your blog through Karen. Thanks for letting us have her back here as we missed her at KP. You and the team are doing great things through Him – what a blessing. The pics look like things are going well. Hey, I have not been able to catch up with you and Kevin and say thanks for bringing back my Quad “officer Jurgens” – the kids busted out laughing when I played them your voicemail. Blessings, Henry

Today is my last work day and Jack leaves to go home in about 1 hour. Cabinets all done, doors hung and cased out, counter tops done, patio doors all installed. Hard to beleive in such a short time so much work has been done. Today i hope to trim out all the windows and finish a few odds and ends then head to the airport at 4am in the morning. I that God 4 all who helped with there gifts from God to make this mission base happen. Weather gifts of work, prayer, money. May God receive all the glory now and for what this building is really being built for, to bring those who are lost to be found and have that relationship with Christ that we all should desire and every so much need. Thanks for your support and prayers back home. In Christ Alan
