Good Morning, It’s a beautiful morning in Guatemala. We are getting ready to start packing. The finsh crew is leaving this morning. Although the first container did not arrive until Sat. they accomplished alot of tasks that needed to be completed. The water system is all built and functional. The toilets and showers are installed and working. The plans for our week are still the same which is to move everything to the new base. We are praying that the second container will arrive this week so we can unload it and move that up to the base also. I had a good nights sleep after 30 hours of travel. The saying “that if you have time to spare go by air” was apprpriate. Anyway we are here and really looking forward to what God has planned for us. More later.
Hi MIke
Do they have any grand gringo clothes for you or are you just wearing your stuff over and over!!??? I hear Karen is taking care of Amy in the fashion department! Well I’m glad that you finally made it and now can get to work on the plans laid out before you. I bet you were amazed at the new base since you saw it last. What fun that must have been. I will continue to pray for you and the team and that the last container gets released.
Love you and stay healthy ( use the hand sanitizer frequently. and tell Amy too)
Love you!! Deb

Hey Mike. I just realized I left your comments on Amy’s page. Sorry about that. Have a great time. We will be praying for you and the team.

Our luggage arrived this afternoon. I just had a shower and clean boxers! I know it’s to much information but the Bible says be thankful in all things. Charley, John & I spent all day at the new base cleaning up and organizing all the construction materials and tools. The ladies spent the day at the base packing and they brought up three loads. The base looks great, there is still more construction work to be done but it is far along enough to move in. The weather is great, it is the dry season so it is VERY dusty. It is great to see Estuardo again, he has been driving us around. As always, he is great driver. Well, others want to get on. Talk to ya later. Thanks for the prayers.
Good morning
Sounds like you had a good day of work yesterday. I hope you got a good night of sleep also. It is fun to see the pictures and read the posts. I am off to the Y and then your dad has a Dr. appointment. Rhonda and I are going to bring him and then off to Terri and then off to a staff meeting tonight at the hospital. I guess I have a busy day. Have fun and stay safe. Love you
Deb
Hi dad, glad you got ur stuff! And would be doing the organizing! Thanks for saying hi to me this morning too! Well I gotta go work, Making new friends everyday ya know! Love ya
Jason
Had a good nights sleep. I had breakfast duty this morning. Made pancakes and Carol made the eggs. We need to have a very productive day today. There is a LOT of stuff to move. Well, time to get going.
Hey Mike,
Praying this finds you doing well and staying healthy. Praying also you and the team are able to complete all the projects you want to get done this week.
Love, Brian and Rhonda
Hi Mike
How was your day today. I bet you’re sore:). It sounds like you guys are accomplishing a lot. Any news on the container? Well I have to go to my staff meeting so I better go. I will keep praying for you and the team for health and endurance and saftey as you go between bases. Love you
Deb
Hi Mike,
Looks like a great and busy week for you. Glad everything is working out. The weather seems to be co-operating too. Hope the rest of the week goes well and you can finish what needs to be done. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

Very busy day yesterday. I spent the whole day at the old base taking apart bunk beds. Today we move appliances. I know the definition of volunteering or serving, doing something for someone else that I would normally pay to have done for myself, for example moving appliances. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.
Hi Mike
How was your day. It sounded like you had lots to do. If you took down all the bunk beds are you staying at the new base? My day at work wasn’t horrible but I kept thinking about all I wanted to accomplish at home. Oh well.
I hope you’re not to sore after all this moving. I think since we practised so much with Amy that this trip was perfect for you. Well have a good night and I hope you sleep well. You’re in my prayers. Love you
Deb
Yes, it’s been good week. Estuardo & Hermano say hi. That is the first thing they said when they saw me. This is one of the few places I go where they know me as Jason’s Dad and not Mike. That is kind of fun. Thanks for the updates on the Wings. Look at Karen’s updates, she has a video of the truck caravan from the container.
Had another good day! We moved about 4 loads up to the base and then unloaded the second container. We had 3 flatbed trucks and 2 vans loaded. We then brought it up to the new base and unloaded it. The only bunks left at the old base are the ones we are still using. We hope to finish all the moving tomorrow and then stay up there. We have been passing out candy to the kids on the way. It was nice and warm today. We got some sun while unloading the container. Time for devotions.
Hi Dad,

Karen, Carol, Estuardo & I came back to the old base for a final load of small stuff. There is still Aload of big bulky stuff that they will come after tomorrow with the flat bed. The computer and modem will be shut down and moved after I am done with this. It has been quite a week, lots of God sightings. Thabks for your thoughts and prayers.
Arrived home safely and uneventfully. No hot water Thursday and no water at all on Friday, so a hot shower and shave were fantastic. It was a good and very busy week getting everything moved. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers for everyone on the team.
